FRENCH LAW 49-733 THAT GAVE KHMER KAMPUCHEA KROM TO VIETNAMESE ILLEGALLY
On June 4th, 1949 French President Vicent Auriol signed into law to transfer Khmer Kampuchea Krom 21 Provinces and two islands to Vietnam control illegally without official consents of Khmer government.
JANUARY 7th, 1979 VIETNAMESE INVASION
The state of Kampuchea (Khmer: កម្ពុជា; Kâmpŭchéa; French: Kampuchéa),[4] officially Democratic Kampuchea[5] (DK; Khmer: កម្ពុជាប្រជាធិបតេយ្យ; Kâmpŭchéa Prâcheathippadey; French: Kampuchéa démocratique), refers to Cambodia under one-party Marxist-Leninist communist rule that existed between 1975 and 1979. The state was controlled by the Khmer Rouge (KR), the name was popularly given to the followers of the Communist Party of Kampuchea (CPK) and was founded when KR forces defeated the Khmer Republic of Lon Nol in 1975.
1991 PARIS PEACH ACCORD AGREEMENT
The Paris Peace Agreements (Khmer: សន្ធិសញ្ញាសន្តិភាពទីក្រុងប៉ារីស, French: Accords de Paris) formally titled Comprehensive Cambodian Peace Agreements were signed on October 23, 1991, and marked the official end of the Cambodian–Vietnamese War. The agreement led to the deployment of the first post-Cold War peacekeeping mission (UNTAC) and the first-ever occasion in which the UN took over as the government of a state. The agreement was signed by nineteen countries.[1]

October 23 is a public holiday in Cambodia to commemorate the anniversary of the Paris Peace Agreement. It was announced by the government in late 2012.
